INVITATION: Engage a heroic journey along a wisdom trail

Now that I’ve finished telling the tale a second time, via the supplemental medium of memes, I’m happy to invite you (one and all) to engage the Odyssey of the 8th Fire. Through following the journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific you will meet and learn from traditional wisdom keepers of North America. What they share is directly relevant to this moment in history.

My first telling of the story was through an epic-length narrative. That’s a demanding literary adventure for readers, but also, I feel, very rewarding.

But if you set out on the journey through the second telling—8th Fire slide shows that I’ve created and posted to Youtube—you can engage this true, epic adventure with the wisdom keepers, and complete the journey, in less than an hour. Check it out.

The third part of the journey: slide show of memes for Odyssey of the 8th Fire

STREAM THE MEMES
As the days unfold through 2020 and on into 2021, I’m creating memes commemorating the 25th anniversary of the cross-continent walk at the heart of a true, epic saga of North America: Odyssey of the 8th Fire. 
     When I complete a group of 40 slides, I assemble them into a slide show and upload it to Youtube. The link below is for my  slide show exploring The Third Part of the Journey – Days 81-120 of our long walk: human beings of all colors & all faiths on an odyssey from the Eastern Door of America to the Western Gate.
     I encourage you to check it out. Just takes a few minutes. It’s a strengthening tale about our land and our people and it’s easier to absorb through these slides than through the long journal accounts I’ve posted at 8thfire.net.
     Parts I and II of the odyssey slide shows are also posted to my Youtube channel. I’ll add Parts IV, V, and VI in time. Let me know what you think.

Check out my 6-minute slide-show: Odyssey of the 8th Fire

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the epic Sunbow 5 long walk from the Eastern Door at the Atlantic Ocean, to the Western Gate at the Pacific, I’m creating memes that suggest some of the teachings that were found along the side of the trail.

To make the memes more coherent, since they are part of an overall pattern, I created a 6-minute Youtube slide show, sequencing the memes and hinting at some of the experiences and teachings of the first 40 days.
